Dr. Theophilus Knight Oware BFA(Hons), MSc., PhD
Non-Executive Director & Board Chairman.
Dr. Theophilus Knight Oware is a distinguished academic and business professional with a PhD and extensive experience in higher education and technology.
He serves as the Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Departments and is a Senior Lecturer with a dynamic teaching portfolio that spans multiple faculties. He lectures in Introduction to Computer Science at the Business School, Visual Programming and Web Technologies at the School of Engineering, and Introduction to Cybersecurity at the Graduate School, and also as a coordinator of M.Sc. Cybersecurity programme, all at All Nations University, Koforidua.
Dr. Oware has served as consultant to the Centre for Innovation and Technology (CINNOT) and INFOPRO Solutions, a cybersecurity and soft skills training entities
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Oware is also a dedicated entrepreneur, actively engaged in business ventures that reect his passion for innovation and development and currently serves as the Vice President on the Regional Council of the Association of Rural Banks – Eastern Chapter.

Mr. Festus Kwame-Mensah Ofosu is an astute banker in the area of rural and community banking.
He started from a humble beginning as a Bank of Ghana Manager Trainee from 1984- 1985 and subsequently joined the then South Akim Rural Bank Limited, where he served as its General Manager for 34 years and compulsorily retired.
Mr. Ofosu holds B.A. in Economics and Geography from the University of Ghana, a Danida Fellow in Banking as well as training in Micronance from the World Bank.
He is also well vested in knowledge on Anti Money Laundering and Counter terrorism Financing.
He is the Director for the Suhum Area and currently, serves as the Chairman of the Credit and Mobilisation Committee of South Akim Rural Bank PLC., where he brings his expertise to continue to help drive the growth of the Bank.

Dr. Collins Nii Anang Okpoti is a Family Physician at the 37 Military Hospital, with over 17 years of experience in healthcare, community leadership, and governance. He is also the Chief of Ntoaso in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality, known as Nii Dr. Okpoti Akrong II.
He holds a medical degree, a Master's in Public Administration, and specialized training in Family Medicine, Health Administration, Occupational Safety, and Diabetes Management. A graduate of PRESEC–Legon and KNUST, he brings strong ethical leadership and a commitment to stakeholder satisfaction and sustainable development.
Elected as Director for the Adoagyiri Area, Dr. Okpoti has undergone training in corporate governance, Financial analysis, strategic planning, and cybersecurity.
He serves on the Audit, Risk & Compliance, and ICT & Cybersecurity Committees. He is passionate about community development and enjoys farming in his leisure time. He isn. married and a father of three.

Professor Douglas Darko Agyei, Director in Charge of Koforidua and Adweso is a distinguished Professor of Mathematics Education and Acting Provost of the College of Education Studies at the University of Cape Coast (UCC). He holds a PhD in Curriculum Design & Instructional Technology from the University of Twente, Netherlands, a Master's in Applied Mathematics from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education from UCC, Ghana.
Recognized as Ghana's leading EdTech researcher in 2021 and consistently ranked among the top EdTech scientists in Africa (2023–2025), Professor Agyei has authored over 90 scholarly articles and consulted on numerous ICT in education projects funded by global institutions including UNESCO, Microsoft, and USAID. He has represented Africa at three EDUsummIT global summits in Bulgaria, Canada, and Japan.
He has served as a Visiting Scholar in South Africa, Japan, and the USA and held various leadership roles at UCC including Dean, Vice Dean, and Head of Department. As the founding Director of UCC's Centre for Teaching Support, he championed innovations in higher education pedagogy across Africa. Currently, he oversees over 500 staff as Acting Provost while mentoring numerous postgraduate students.
Professor Agyei brings to the Board extensive academic, research, and administrative expertise, with a deep commitment to strategic development and innovation in education and governance. He serves as the Chairman of the ICT and Cyber Security Committee.

Dr. Emmanuel Obiri Addo provides strategic oversight for the Asamankese, Osenase, and Kade Agencies of South Akim Rural Bank, contributing signicantly to operational growth and rural outreach.
A respected businessman and community leader, Dr. Addo holds a BSc in Accounting and an MBA in Finance. He is a Doctoral Fellow of the Institute of Certied Business Analysts & Consultants and a member of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management.
Dr. Addo currently serves as Chairman of the Finance and Administration Committee of the Bank and he is known for his strategic insight, dedication to rural development, and strong commitment to inclusive community advancement.
Beyond the Bank, he serves as Executive Director of the Me Boafo Foundation, Director of Finance and Administration at Kyei Bekind Enterprise Ltd., and as Sector Leader and Council Member of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Eastern Region). He is married and a proud father of two.

Mr. Godfred Kwasi Gyasi is a seasoned banker with over thirty-ve years of experience in the nancial sector. His extensive career encompasses key areas such as risk management, trade nance, auditing, accounting, corporate nance, compliance, corporate strategy, international business, and customer service.
He has served a diverse clientele both locally and internationally, bringing a global perspective to nancial service delivery.
As a member of the Board of South Akim Rural Bank, Mr. Gyasi brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight that continues to enhance the Bank's operations in his role as the Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.
His expertise contributes signicantly to advancing nancial literacy and promoting a culture of savings, while strengthening support for micro and small enterprises and driving community development. Mr. Gyasi holds an Executive MBA in Finance and Banking from PGSM.

Frank Nkansah is a Legal Practitioner with Baako Apem Chambers, a rm of Legal Practitioners and Consultants where he focuses on general representation in courtroom litigation, representing clients before institutions andprovidingopinionsand/orinterpretationtoclientsonlegalmatters. He also has twelve (12) years' experience working in Accounting, Finance and Managerial roles with International Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO's).
He is a product of a number of schools where he holds an HND in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, BA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Laws from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Qualifying Certicate from Ghana School of Law.
He was appointed as Company Secretary of the Bank in October 2023 where he has continuously offered guidance to the Board on matters of their duties, responsibilities and powers and on the changes and development in the laws affecting the operation of companies.
